The Way Home Beer House does what it says on the bottle. It is a laid-back Taipei bar and area beer-house where you can pop in quickly to sample over 300 different local and imported craft beers.The massive beer selection is most notably European(Belgian/Dutch etc), followed by North American and Japanese choices. You'll literally find a wall of different beers here to take home or enjoy on the spot on the tall seats facing the bar or the spacious lounge area with long tables that can seat large groups of drinkers.
There's not a big emphasis on food, and most plates come courtesy from Costco, e.g.nachos and salsa.
The Way Home Beer House exudes a relaxed residential ambience and upmarket all wooden hipster-ish interior design.
There's a popular long happy hour most evenings with well-priced beers going for up to half price. The bar can get busy and lively at times, but it doesn't stay open till late, except on weekends.
A bit of a trek to find this Taipei bar, as it's not near an MRT, but it's well worth the effort.
