There's the huge Danceport party in Kaohsiung with world-class DJ's, Headhunterz Spinning Sessions at OMNI, Japanese DJ Ksuke at Room 18, Las Vegan DJ Vice at Elektro and for some underground beats go and check out Paula Temple and Fracture out at Korner and Pipe respectively.

Over at Triangle there'll be some dancehall that'll ja maika you go crazy.

Last but not least, fun Neo19 lounge spot LMNT is unfortunately closing. Join them for their farewell party tonight. If you're in Taichung, DJ's Anti-hero, Nekbrace and Smokey Bear is tearing up an Ice Skating Rink back-to-school style. Loads of live music to choose from this weekend, with top billing surely going to Aristophanes, a local girl rapper who's on the up after her recent collaborations with new BFF and indie darling Grimes. Catch her while you can. For more local, head to Revolver where Taiwanese pop punk band Xharkie's headlining, with a bunch of other bands. Red Cliff's launching their album at Bobwundaye while the Flat Fives are at Sappho. For jazz lovers, there's Jazz Way Station at Cafe For bars, Beer & Cheese is celebrating Saison Day with some fantastic deals on ... well beer and cheese.
